Get cosy and Christmassy with this festive botanical workshop!
In this workshop we will be using a variety of foraged and dried leaves and flowers to create beautiful botanical printed Christmas decorations. We’ll be pressing different plants, textures and and words to create personalised Christmas decorations to give to your loved ones.
You will have the chance to designing your own shapes, but there will also be some templates to work from if you choose. Everyone will finish with 6 decorations to be fired and glazed in the colours you choose.
We’ll stay warm with some spiced chai teas and biscuits. Max 6 spaces per workshop.
Collection: The collection of ceramic work will be 3 weeks after the workshop, in time for Christmas! This is to allow time for pieces to be dried, fired, glazed and fired again.
Who is this for? Anyone keen to get their hands stuck in with clay. A chance to try hand building techniques!
What to bring? All tools and materials will be provided along with an apron. Wearing old clothes is advisable. Tea and biscuits are included!
Location: Great Walstead Studios, East Mascalls Lane, Lindfield.
